As a member of NWSID, you will gain valuable tools to assist you as an Interior Designer or Product Resource Affiliate engaged in Professional Design Business Practice.

NWSIDoffers Resources and support to you as a Designer or Product Resource Affiliate with our Membership directory and the mission that we help each other in succeeding in Design and Business. Need that Cabinet Maker Source?  Need to find a certain material?  What was that light fixture you saw on one of our Designer’s portfolios on the website? 

 At NWSID,we share because we know that if we don't work together, we can’t support our Industry’s success and we can’t educate our clients and consumers about Interior Design and its integral Products and Services.

We have great opportunities for you to market your business. Not only does Membership bring you in contact with Design Service Businesses, but you get two venues to market yourself at no cost to you; benefits of being a member.

This is an opportunity to have your name and business on the Internet even if you don't have a web site. You can post your picture, list your design categories, explain your  services, and even have a mini-portfolio on-line. Everyone has the opportunity to submit photos for the Revolving Designer  Portfolio display on the NWSID home page. If you have a web page, a link is set up for  potential clients to go directly to your site. Its all part of Membership.

Twice a year NWSID has a large Booth at the Home & Garden Show and the Remodeler’s Show. This is NWSID’s opportunity to make the public aware of our Design Organization, Educate the public about Interior Design and your opportunity to market yourself and your business. Designers volunteer at the booth and our Professional Resource Affiliates contribute product, furniture, materials, and accessories.

Professional Resource Affiliates are an indispensable part of our organization. These are the people who supply the industry with cutting edge product resources. NWSID’s Professional Resource Affiliates are reliable and part of an established and trusted organization. NWSID provides an annual forum for a Showcase of products to the trade. As a Professional Resource member you will have an opportunity to showcase your business and services, not only with NWSID members, but other invited design organizations like ASID and NKBA.  All members are provided with a Professional Resource Binder. An invaluable resource tool for strategic interior design planning. Our Professional Resources work closely with Interior Design members, by bringing a level of help, expertise and pricing, that is invaluable.

 As an organization, NWSID is continually striving for even greater professionalism and to offer our members more. As such, we are offering a full compliment of Business Seminars, Continuing Education Seminars (CEU credits) plus Mentoring Programs for our Student and Apprentice Members. We have Monthly Series Seminars, Mini-seminars at our General Meetings and CEU Speakers at our Showcase events NWSID are very active with IDC and working on licensing for Interior Designers in the State of Oregon
